Understanding Your Dashboard

When you sign in, Manaaki Central shows you a dashboard matched to your role. Each dashboard is designed around the work that matters most to that role — so you can see what needs attention without wading through things that don't concern you.

There are three dashboards in the system. You will see the one that matches your role. If you hold more than one role, the most privileged dashboard is shown.

Intake Officer Dashboard

The Intake Officer dashboard is a real-time pipeline view of all incoming entries moving through the system. Work is organised across four tabs:

TabWhat it shows
Intake ProcessingEntries actively being worked on — drafts and in-progress intake steps
In ReviewEntries that have completed the intake steps and are awaiting review
Service ReviewEntries sent for service approval, awaiting a manager decision
Awaiting Service DeliveryEntries allocated and ready to begin, waiting for the case worker to activate

New submissions and items needing attention surface at the top of each tab, so you can prioritise without manually scanning the queue.

Supervisor / Programme Manager Dashboard

The Supervisor dashboard gives you oversight of your team's work. It focuses on the decisions and checks that sit with your role:

  • Pending referral requests — entries sent to you for approval or decline
  • Clients not recently contacted — a prompt for service users who may need a check-in
  • Pending service dispatches — entries awaiting allocation to a case worker

This view is designed to help you keep things moving across the team without needing to dig into individual records unnecessarily.

Case Worker Dashboard

The Case Worker dashboard is your personal caseload view. It brings together everything you need to manage your active clients:

  • Active cases — all service episodes currently assigned to you
  • Activities needing follow-up — tasks or interactions that are due or overdue
  • Risk flags — clients with elevated risk indicators requiring attention
  • Overdue follow-ups — a direct list of anything past its expected follow-up date

The intent is that you can open Manaaki Central at the start of your day and immediately see where to focus.

tip

Each dashboard has its own detailed guide in the Dashboards section, including a walkthrough of every column, filter, and action available to your role.

Refreshing Dashboard Data

Dashboard data updates automatically in the background. If you want to force a refresh — for example, after completing an action in another tab — use the refresh button in the header bar.
